About GLRS
Southeast GLRS is a part of a network of seventeen sites to provide professional learning and other resources to educators and families of students with disabilities.
Southeast GLRS serves school systems in District 14. This includes Appling, Bulloch, Candler, Evans, Jeff Davis, Screven, Tattnall, Toombs, Wayne and Vidalia City School Systems. Southeast GLRS also serves Cedarwood GNETS and the Charter Conservatory for Liberal Arts and Technology.
Co-Teaching Professional Development in Wayne County
Southeast GLRS provided professional development on co-teaching to the elementary and middle school co-teaching teams of the Wayne County school System. Co-teachers learned the models of co-teaching, when and how the models can be used to match the curriculum and the needs of the students. Training also focused on instruction, planning and classroom management. Teachers also had time to co-plan lessons for upcoming units.
